Information from the board:

The Board at Toppe Borettslag has over several years made an assessments of the plumbing facilities in the building stock. These assessments was quality controlled with a report from Sweco in 2016. In this report, Sweco has estimated the remaining durability of the facilities and the need to start major rehabilitation jobs to be aproximatly 10 years.

Toppe Borettslag have quality assured the report from Sweco, with new mapping of the same plumbing samples in 2019, this shows no changes with regards to the conclution in the previous report.

Toppe Borettslag has made provisions on rent (5%) since 2017, and we have also taken measures to meet demands from the insurance company to avoid getting into a situation where the insurance company terminates the insurance due to lack of maintenance.

We can mention measures such as: 

  • Water stoppers on hot water heaters 2018/2019 
  • New roofs on the low rise buildings 2016
  • Reducing valves for all buildings 2019/2020
  • Roof on high rise buildings 2020
  • New main insurance company deal 2020

The board of Toppe Borettslag will arrange 3 resident meetings within the end of 2020 to present a review of our plans for upgrades for the building facilities. 

From 1.1.2020 we advise our residents not to carry out major upgrades and rehabilitations in bathrooms / toilets. 

Increased rental rates.

As of 01.01.2021 the following rental prices increase:

Joint expenses/net rent:

Will be increased by 9% due to maintainance cost related to the age of our building mass, combined with increased running costs.

Parking:

Rental prices for all parking will be increased by 50kr per month.

Tv/Internet:

The board is currently negotiating a new deal for tv and internet services, as our current agreement runs until 31.12.20. As soon as a new agreement has been signed, details will be published.

Opening hours for new workout facilities:

Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 22:00

Saturday - Sunday: 08:00 - 22:00
